We’re looking for a Virtual Partner Marketing Manager (vPMM) to join our AWS marketing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with a select group of consulting, reseller, and ISV partners – helping them shape, execute, and improve their marketing efforts around AWS solutions.
This isn’t just about ticking boxes or pushing out campaigns. You’ll become a trusted advisor, coaching partners through their marketing journeys – from strategy to execution – so they can make the most of the resources and opportunities AWS offers.

Job Functions
- Be a go-to marketing guide for your partners - offering advice, ideas, and support as they build and execute their plans.
- Help partners refine existing tactics and explore new, creative ways to promote AWS solutions.
- Make sure partners know how to access and use AWS marketing programs and tools effectively.
- Collaborate with internal AWS teams and external agencies to get campaigns up and running smoothly.
- Keep partners engaged, informed, and ready to take action that grows their AWS business.
- Represent AWS at key partner events - sometimes in person - supporting activities and building stronger connections.
Your profile
- 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in tech - cloud, software, or data would be a great fit.
- Background working with partners, resellers, or channels is a big plus.
- A solid understanding of marketing channels - both online (email, social, SEO/SEA, display, video) and offline (events, print, telemarketing, sponsorships).
- Comfortable managing marketing plans from start to finish, including working with agencies.
- Familiarity with MDF (Marketing Development Funds) and how co-marketing programs work.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills - you’re good at earning trust.
- Organized and able to juggle multiple tasks without losing focus.
- Confident using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to share ideas clearly and professionally.
- Tech-curious and eager to learn how to use new systems and platforms.
A Few More Important Things
- This role is remote, with occasional travel to the office, and you must be based in Mexico City.
- You’ll need to be flexible and available to attend key partner events in person - around 30% of the time, though in busier months it could go up to 50%.
- All travel to other cities or countries will be reimbursed separately by the company.
